Minneapolis Star Tribune Wednesday, April 20th 2005
"Minneapolis-based Bag-E-Wash has introduced a product for the dishwasher for cleaning and recycling gallon- or quart-size plastic storage bags. The series of plastic, looped bands form a base over which to slide the bags. President Jeannie Piekos said the company tested the product on freezer bags, which held up to more than 50 washings and dryings. "Some of those bags are still in our personal household circulation," she said, "but we quit counting after 50." Bag-E-Wash costs $9.99 and is available at Linden Hills Co-op, 2813 W. 43rd St., Minneapolis, 612-922-1159; Lakewinds Natural Home Store, 17515 Minnetonka Blvd., Minnetonka, 952-742-1242; and www.bag-e-wash.com. Bonus: Some Bag-E-Washes come packaged in a reusable, ziplock-style one-gallon bag."

Boston Globe October 15th, 2004 featured Bag-E-Wash(tm)
in their At Home Section. Here's what they had to say.
"A good idea makes another good idea better. Plastic food storage bags
are a great convenience but who hasn't regretted throwing yet another
one out before it was worn out, simply because they're a pain to clean?
To Minneapolis husband and wife Jeannie and Randy Piekos, the solution
was Bag-E-Wash, the simple, plastic dishwasher attachment they invented
to let you wash, dry, and therefore re-use plastic bags. Every time you
clean a bag, that's one you don't toss on the landfill mountain, not
to mention one you don't have to buy. $9.99 at www.Bag-E-Wash.com. Useable
with gallon- or quart-size bags." -- Barbara F. Meltz, Globe Staff
